Julio Urias will be recalled from Triple-A and start Thursday against the San Francisco Giants, as reported by J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group. (J.P. Hoornstra on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
In 14 innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City, Urias posted a 1.93 ERA, 1.214 WHIP, and 15 strikeouts to nine walks. There has been no indication if this is a spot-start or if Urias will remain in the rotation. The way the Dodgers have handled the youngster so far, spot-start seems the likely scenario. With that said, you never know and the upside is tantalizing. The Giants are 21st in OPS against LHP and strikeout the fifth-most, so the matchup is a favorable one.
