Dustin Pedroia didn't require an MRI on Monday as initially expected. Instead, he was considered day-to-day after an exam in Boston. (Evan Drellich on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pedroia could avoid a stint on the disabled list after all. Still, with the new 10-day DL, the Red Sox could elect to play it safe with the veteran considering he was previously dealing with a knee injury prior to the slide on Friday that injured him further.
