Pablo Sandoval placed on 10-day DL with right knee sprain

The Red Sox have placed Pablo Sandoval on the 10-day disabled list with a right knee sprain. The team activated Josh Rutledge to take Sandoval's place on the roster. (Ian Browne on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Sandoval sustained the knee sprain on Sunday and underwent an MRI yesterday. Although he wasn't particularly fantasy relevant, after a rough start, Sandoval had started to find his groove a bit, with seven hits in his last 19 at-bats. It's unclear how long Sandoval will be out, but owners in AL-only leagues or deep mixed leagues will need to find a replacement for at least the next week-and-a-half.
