Madison Bumgarner will not require surgery on his injured left shoulder. He hopes to begin rehabbing his injuries in a few days, but he's unlikely to resume throwing for two months. (Andrew Baggarly on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While this is good news, Bumgarner will still miss an extended period of time. Given the Giants start to the season and the team's other injuries, they could be in for a long year. The same could be said for fantasy owners who will find it very difficult to replace the expected production from their ace.
