Jeff Samardzija posted a quality start Friday night, pitching seven innings of three run ball at home against the Padres. He also gave up four hits, one walk, and struck out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Unfortunately for those streaming Samardzija the Giants offense couldn't muster enough runs for the win, but it was an encouraging outing nonetheless. He now has a 6.32 ERA on the year, which make him tough to trust in anything other than a great matchup.
