Cole Hamels scratched from Tuesday's start with oblique issue

Cole Hamels experienced 'tightness' with his oblique muscle on his right side while going through normal pre-game warmup tosses in the bullpen minutes before the game against the Astros Tuesday night. He was quickly removed from the starting lineup. The team announced that he will be returning to Arlington to be examined by Dr. Keith Meister.
Fantasy Impact:
Obviously not a very good sign so owners will have to do their homework on whom to use if Hamels misses any more time. This is a rough time for Hamels and the Rangers but he was showing major regression this year and this could be an opportunity to pick up a starter who shows upside for fantasy purposes.
