Madson has quietly worked a 1.59 ERA and 12/3 K/BB in 11 1/3 innings as a late inning arm. With Sean Doolittle sidelined indefinitely, Madson looks most entrenched behind Santiago Casilla at the end of the line making him a potential source of holds if not closer insurance.
