Carlos Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in Colorado's 10-7 win over the Dodgers Thursday night. He is now hitting .198 on the year.
Fantasy Impact:
Thursday night was a bright spot in what has otherwise been a dreadful start to the season for Gonzalez. He entered Thursday with a .188 batting average and was showing no signs of getting out of what has been a long slump. He owns a career batting average of .290 and has a proven track record over the course of 11 seasons, so the hope is that he can turn things around. Maybe Thursday night was the first step in the right direction.
