Wily Peralta hit hard by the Mets on Sunday afternoon

by JP Gale | Pirates Correspondent | Mon, May 15th 12:10pm EDT

Wily Peralta allowed the Mets to score seven runs, six of them earned, on seven hits and one walk over 4.1 innings on Sunday afternoon. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Peralta left with his team down 7-1, but the Brewers' offense battled back and got him off the hook for the loss. Big Wily is back to his old ways it seems, as his ERA has gone from 4.71 to 6.08 over his last five starts. During that period he's allowed six home runs. He can be safely tossed aside in all but the very deepest of leagues. His ability to turn in quality starts every now and again makes him an interesting tournament play in DFS contests, but it's a big risk. His next start will come against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon.
