Edinson Volquez struggles again; might be bad

Miami Marlins starting pitcher and supposed ace Edinson Volquez dropped his record to 0-6 on Thursday, tossing six innings and allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks while only striking out four.

Fantasy Impact:

Volquez has had some flashes of solid pitching this year, but has mostly struggled. He's pitched well enough a few times to deserve a win, but an 0-6 record for the Opening Day starter is a pretty perfect statistic for the 2017 Marlins. It's been a long season already, and it's only mid-May.
