Ryan Braun (calf) nearing return

According to Brewers' manager Craig Counsell, Ryan Bruan is making progress but is unsure if he will be ready to come off the DL when he is eligible on Sunday. If he doesn't make it by Sunday, Counsell doesn’t expect to him to miss that date by much.
Fantasy Impact:
Bruan is supposed to be evaluated by doctors again on Saturday for the calf injury that placed him on the 10-day DL. The results of that exam will likely determine the timeframe for Braun rejoining the team. The first-place Brewers are starting a three-game series against the Cubs on Friday afternoon. Fantasy owners in weekly leagues should know more before setting lineups next week.
