Josh Bell smacks ninth home run in Pirates' win

by Brad Richter | Pirates Correspondent | Fri, May 19th 1:10pm EDT

Josh Bell hit a two-run homer off Nationals' starter Tanner Roark to get the offense started in the Pirates 10-4 victory on Thursday. Bell finished the game 1-for-3 with a walk.

Fantasy Impact:

Bell has been a good source of power so far this season with nine home runs through his first 41 games. His .248 batting average could also have some room for improvement with a low .250 BABIP so far. However, other than home runs the rest of Bell's counting stats such as runs and RBIs will be limited in a Pirates' offense that ranks 27th in runs scored this season.
