Jake Junis with solid spot start Sunday

by Carmen Maiorano | Brewers Correspondent | Mon, May 22nd 9:47am EDT

Jake Junis fared much better than the ever-aging Chris Young in a spot start against the Twins on Sunday, going 4 2/3 innings in a no decision. He surrendered two runs on five hits and three walks. He also struck out four batters.

Fantasy Impact:

Junis was then promptly optioned to Triple A to make room for Ian Kennedy to start the second game of the double header. If Nathan Karns goes to the DL, expect Junis to be called back up, as he has performed much better than Chris Young. Junis would only be a stream play once he gets called back up, however.
