Chad Pinder goes yard in back to back games over weekend

by Waleed Hawatky | Mon, May 22nd 1:16pm EDT

Chad Pinder finished 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 12-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Fantasy Impact:

Perhaps we're nearing time for folks outside of Oakland to take note of the kid. A fan favorite, Pinder has been launching the ball with authority having now gone deep five times in just 21 games played including three over the course of the weekend four-game set with the Red Sox. The one he hit on Saturday was a mammoth 437 footer that put the game out of reach and the two run shot in Sunday's game gave the A's a brief lead. The power is real and he's having a ridiculous May. Pinder's line now sits at .286/.352/.673 with five homers and 11 RBI.
