Rougned Odor goes 2-for-4 in loss

Rougned Odor went 2-for-4 on Tuesday in a loss to the Boston Red Sox. He scored a run and doubled in the game. The double is a welcome sight considering Odor has gone nearly three weeks without hitting a dinger and a week without another extra base knock.

Fantasy Impact:

Odor's .206 batting average this season is tough for fantasy owners to swallow. His .148 ISO is a far cry from the .231 mark in 2016. However, as noted in previous updates, Odor is walking slightly more and striking out slightly less. His .216 BABIP (league average is .300) this year says he is getting unlucky (.283 and .297 in previous two seasons), while his hard contact percentage of 35% mirrors his 2016 rate. At some point, Rougned Odor is going to catch fire as he is regarded as one of the streakiest hitters in all of baseball. The opportunity to buy low remains for those willing to take that risk.
