Eric Thames reaches base three times in Brewers' loss
by Brad Richter | Wed, May 24th 6:44am EDT
Eric Thames, who left Sunday's game early with leg cramps, was in the Brewers' starting lineup batting second on Tuesday. He went 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk, HBP and a steal in the Brewers' 4-3 loss to the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
After a red-hot April batting .345 with 11 home runs, Thames has come back to earth in May with a .250 average and two long balls. Despite slowing down in May, Thames is still hitting the ball hard 41% of the time this month. He will have a hard time duplicating his strong April but is still a solid 1B that should be started in all leagues.
