Tyson Ross (TOS) nearing date for Rangers' debut

Tyson Ross yielded two hits over five scoreless innings Tuesday in Round Rocks, the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate, and he is set to start another game there on Monday, with the hopes of going six innings. If all goes well, with no issues, he could make his Rangers' debut the following weekend, against Houston. (Jeff Wilson/Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Ross is a worthy pickup and stash in deeper leagues. He hasn't pitched in the majors since Opening Day, 2016 but he carried a 3.07 ERA and 526 strikeouts over 516 2/3 innings with San Diego from 2013-2015.
