Jason Hammel had yet another losing performance against Luis Severino and the Yankees, dropping his record to 1-6. He actually pitched well, allowing only three runs on six hits over six innings. He even struck out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
It seems that this was vintage Chicago Cubs Jason Hammel, with a nice quality start. He is not worth rostering until he can perform like this on a consistent basis. He has an unsightly 6.20 ERA and 1.75 WHIP in 2017.
