Nathan Karns to the DL

Nathan Karns was sent to the DL today, retroactive to May 21, with stiffness in his right forearm. He is eligible to return next Wednesday. (Rustin Dodd on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
This move was essentially made to get Alex Gordon back from paternity leave. Karns is likely to miss only one start. He has been a great source of strikeouts this season, with 51 Ks in 45 2/3 innings. Look for him on the waiver wire once he returns.
