Sonny Gray allowed just one run on three hits while striking out 11 over seven innings of work in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Gray appears to finally be getting it going having now recorded back-to-back wins while striking out 19 batters over 13 combined innings of work. He was brilliant in this one, missing bats all afternoon, allowing just three hits and the lone run that came on a wild pitch in the fourth inning. The fine effort brings his line to a 3.34 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 28 strikeouts over 29 2/3 innings as he continues to work back from his lat injury. He gets a date with the Indians next.
