Alex Bregman hits third home run, steals fourth base Wednesday

by Mike Maher | Astros Correspondent | Thu, May 25th 12:36pm EDT

Alex Bregman went 3-for-4 with this third home run and fourth stolen base of the season in Wednesday's loss to the Tigers. The home run was his second in his last four games after hitting just one in his first 40 games.

Fantasy Impact:

Bregman's first full season got off to an overall underwhelming start, especially in the power department. He has hit three home runs in the last two weeks, though, and seems to be turning it on. The Astros dropped him to seventh in the batting order about a month ago, which hurts his value, but it is still far too early to give up on the promising rookie. Bregman also just earned middle infielder eligibility and is just one more appearance at shortstop away from gaining eligibility there, too, in many formats.
