Robbie Ray dominates the Brewers on Thursday

by Bobby Doll | Giants Correspondent | Fri, May 26th 9:09am EDT

Robbie Ray threw seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts, two hits allowed, and zero walks. That's two consecutive outings of at least seven innings, two hits, and no runs allowed for Ray, who looks locked in. Of note in this game, Ray allowed zero walks for the first time this season as he threw 70 of his 102 pitches for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

After two not so great starts, Ray has thrown two gems and will look to continue this stretch. Part of that will be limiting the walks as his combined three walks in his last two games is the fewest in any two consecutive outings this year. Ray holds a 3.45 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with an 11.1 K/9.
