Andrew Cashner strong over seven in win against Blue Jays

Andrew Cashner allowed five hits and one run while walking two and striking out two over seven innings Sunday as the Rangers' defeated the Blue Jays 3-1 in Toronto. It was a solid outing for Cashner, who carries a 2.92 ERA and improved his record to 2-4 on the season. He will pitch again Saturday against Lance McCullers and the Astros in Arlington.
Fantasy Impact:
His K/9 is still abysmal but he was more efficient today and that is what counts. If he puts together a couple of solid outings like this one he might be on the radar of those in deeper AL-only leagues for back-end slots.
