Alex Wood placed on 10-day DL with SC joint inflammation

The Dodgers placed Alex Wood on the 10-day disabled list with SC joint inflammation on Monday, retroactive to May 27. The team purchased Brandon Morrow's contract to take Wood's place on the active roster. (Alanna Rizzo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Disappointing news for Wood owners, but everything out of Dodgers camp makes this sounds like a very minor injury. Dave Roberts even described it as a "one-start thing." No team has been better than the Dodgers at making use of its excess pitching through the disabled list, so this is likely just a minor injury. Expect Wood back shortly after his 10 days are up.
