Gregory Polanco was carted off the field after making contact with the wall in foul territory along the right-field wall in the sixth inning of Monday's matchup with the Diamondbacks. Polanco appeared to have injured his right ankle. (Steph en J. Nesbitt on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The severity of Polanco's injury is not yet known, but being carted off is usually not a good sign. He had just returned from the disabled list four days ago, after missing time with a hamstring injury. Polanco was on a hot streak since his return, so an extended absence would be very disappointing for fantasy owners.
