Pablo Sandoval activated from disabled list

Pablo Sandoval (knee) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, Tim Britton of The Providence Journal reports. As anticipated, Sandoval will rejoin the Red Sox in order to fill the infield void left by Dustin Pedroia's (wrist) injury. (Tim Britton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is great news for Red Sox fans but fantasy owners need not get excited. Sandoval is no longer a must-own play in fantasy. He was hitting .213 with three homer runs before the injury. He may help some teams with third base depth in deeper leagues but his standard league days are behind him.
