Mike Fiers picks up win

Mike Fiers pitched six innings of two-run ball Tuesday night against the Twins. Fiers picked up the win while allowing five hits, three walks, and striking out eight.
Fantasy Impact:
Fiers had been demoted to the bullpen just a few days ago, but with Charlie Morton going on the DL he got a chance to start again and made the most of it tonight. Fiers has had a home run problem this year so it was very encouraging to see him not give one up in Minnesota. Still, it's going to take a few more good outings like this one before fantasy players can feel comfortable streaming him.
