Elvis Andrus continues producing atop the Texas lineup

by Kevin Black | Sun, Jun 4th 12:48pm EDT

Elvis Andrus went 3-for-4 with one walk in Saturday's loss to the Houston Astros. Andrus knocked in the first run of the game on a single in the first inning off of Lance McCullers. He later doubled in two runs, scoring himself on three occasions. Andrus was involved in each and every run scored by the Rangers in this one.

Fantasy Impact:

His batting average currently sits at .305 which is right in line with his 2016 mark. However, he already has seven dingers in 2017, he had eight all of last year. His .173 ISO would set a new career high and he is still providing value with his legs on the basepaths with 13 steals so far. Andrus could easily return the most value at seasons end with regards to actual production and preseason average draft position. He is currently an elite option to deploy in season long and DFS formats.
