Victor Martinez (flu) sat out Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
V-Mart left Friday's contest with flu-like symptoms but returned Saturday to an 0-for-4, earning him a day off to rest. The vet had been hitting well over his past several games and, on the whole, has been hitting a respectable .264/..346/.390 with five home runs and 28 RBIs. He doesn't appear to be quite the force he used to be but the Tigers are always glad to have him in the lineup. He should be back out there soon.
