Jeff Samardzija looked great in Monday night's win over the Brewers, pitching 7 2/3 innings of two-run ball (one earned). Samardzija struck out 10, walked none, and gave up just six hits.
Fantasy Impact:
The win improved the right hander's record to 2-7 on the year, though that is not indicative of how he's pitched. Neither is his 4.29 ERA. Samardzija has been on an absolute roll as of late and should be started in fantasy lineups whenever he's pitching due to the massive strikeout potential. Keep rolling him out for however long this hot streak lasts.
