Adrian Beltre could require DL stint

Adrian Beltre's ailing ankle could require a trip to the disabled list. He was in a walking boot as recently as late Tuesday. For their part, the Rangers have said that they don't plan on placing the veteran back on the DL. (FanRag Sports)

Reports from FanRag say that it's more than just a day-to-day ailment, which could require time on the shelf. That would be bad news for owners that just got Beltre back from his calf injury which delayed his 2017 debut. In the brief time he's been healthy, Beltre continued to look like one of the top bats in the game. He hit a homer with six RBIs in seven games for a 1.067 OPS.
