Brandon Belt and the Giants fall to the Brewers on Wednesday

by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | Thu, Jun 8th 1:43pm EDT

The Giants were doubled up by the Brewers 6-3 on Wednesday. Despite the loss, Brandon Belt finished with a decent day at the plate. He ended up 1-for-3 with a RBI and a run. He also walked once. His downfall though was two strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

Belt has been hitting better as of late. Despite his .241 average for the season, Belt has hit .270 with four HR over his last 15 games. This could be the sign of things turning around. For his career, Belt has a BABIP of .337, but this season he is only at .290. With signs of positive regression in his future, Belt makes for a nice buy-low candidate.
