Jose Abreu crosses home plate once in loss to Rays

The White Sox could only generate runs via the long ball on Thursday. It was not enough to come back and they lost 7-5 to the Rays. Jose Abreu got on base with a single and crossed home plate thanks to an Avisail Garcia three-run blast. Abreu finished 1-for-5 with a run. He also struck out once.

Fantasy Impact:

Abreu has not been as good as of late. Over his last 15 games, Abreu is only hitting .226 without any HR. The team has lost eight of their last nine and is on a downward spiral. Abreu should still be owned in most leagues, but isn't worth an everyday start until he heats up again.
