In a 2-1 loss to New York (NL), Matt Kemp went 1-for-3 with one walk and struck out once on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Kemp's batting average and power numbers have dipped quite a bit since the start of June with his batting average going from an eye-opening .345 clip at that time to a now .326 average. He has failed to hit a home run too all month and has only managed to knock in two runs in that same span. He's still a viable start in all fantasy leagues but he isn't a must-start player at the moment in standard ones.
