Neil Walker (hamstring) placed on 10-day DL, out several weeks

Neil Walker has been placed on the 10-day DL with a partial tear of his left hamstring. Gavin Cecchini has been recalled from Triple-A to take his roster spot. (New York Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Walker suffered the injury on Wednesday night when running to first base after laying down a bunt in the third inning. He is expected to be out several weeks. Walker can be released in shallow leagues if no DL spot is available. Cecchini and T.J. Rivera will gain more playing time at 2B in Walker's absence.
