Luis Severino makes it through six

by Chris Zolli | Mets Correspondent | Sat, Jun 17th 9:23am EDT

Luis Severiono allowed four runs on four hits in six innings against the Athletics on Friday. Severino struck out six and walked four, pitching around a four run second inning. He is 5-2 with a 2.99 ERA this season and will face the Angels in New York on June 22.

Fantasy Impact:

Severino's four walks were a season-high, but he made it through six innings, striking out at least six batters for the sixth straight start. He snapped a five-start streak of allowing two runs or less, but still has a strong 1.05 WHIP this season. Current Angels only have 11 at-bats against Severino, Ben Revere has a double in six at-bats, and he is 3-2 with a 3.32 ERA at home this season.
