Edwin Encarnacion powers Indians to victory

by Matthew Terelle | Indians Correspondent | Sun, Jun 18th 8:45pm EDT

Edwin Encarnacion had a big day at the plate on Sunday. The designated hitter went 3-for-4 with two homers, five RBIs, and two runs scored to lift the Indians to a 5-2 win over Minnesota.

Fantasy Impact:

Encarnacion has been white hot at the plate of late. He got off to a painfully slow start over the first six weeks of the season but has been tearing the cover off the baseball over the past month. After sitting on a .198 batting average on May 15, Encarnacion is now up to slashing .261/.377/.496 with 16 homers, 36 RBIs, and 38 runs on the year. Lock him into those starting lineups going forward.
