Paul Goldschmidt takes team lead in long balls
by Brendan Ringwood | Cardinals Correspondent | Wed, Jun 21st 4:08pm EDT
Paul Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 Tuesday, launching a solo home run to right field. His 17th ball to leave the yard was part of a back-to-back effort with David Peralta, but the D-backs would still go on to drop the game to the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Goldschmidt now leads MLB in runs scored for the year. With the lineup performing well even in A.J. Pollock's absence, Goldschmidt has seen no difference in his numbers or opportunities. The thought of Pollock returning to this explosive offense is good for everyone.
