Tyson Ross has rough outing Wednesday night

by Steve Painter | Thu, Jun 22nd 12:29am EDT

Tyson Ross pitched only three innings Wednesday night against the Blue Jays allowing seven hits, seven runs (all earned), and one walk while recording two strikeouts in his second start of the season. It was all the runs the Blues Jays needed, although the did score one more, as the Rangers were defeated 7-5. With the loss, Ross's record pulls even at 1-1. He will pitch again Monday against Carlos Carrasco and the Indians in Cleveland.

Fantasy Impact:

It should be noted that Ross gave six of those runs in the first inning, still, it has to be a little frustrating for him, as he had such a tremendous outing last week. But such is the nature of TOS, recovery is a difficult struggle.
