Steve Pearce suffered a right knee contusion after colliding with the left field wall in Wednesday's game against the Rangers. He's considered day-to-day. (Sportsnet)
Fantasy Impact:
Pearce was 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI before exiting, and he now has nine hits in 17 at-bats since returning from the disabled list on June 16. Assuming the injury doesn't keep him out long, Pearce remains an interesting name to consider in deeper mixed leagues, particularly while he's swinging a hot bat.
