Cody Allen takes loss on Saturday

Cody Allen took his third loss of the season on Saturday as he allowed the Minnesota Twins to score the tie-breaking run in the eighth inning. The Twins wound up winning 4-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Allen took over in the eighth inning and allowed Brian Dozier to connect for his 13th homer of the year. On the season, Allen is now 0-3 with a 2.25 ERA and 37 strikeouts. Allen has been pitching in a setup role over the past week in attempts to lighten Andrew Miller's workload. The change does not appear to be permanent so no need to fear if you own Allen in fantasy leagues.
