Joe Panik turning things around

by Jeff Latka | Sun, Jun 25th 11:07am EDT

Giants second baseman Joe Panik went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three RBIs, three runs and a walk Thursday against the Braves.

Fantasy Impact:

Panik has turned things around in June, batting .371/.431/.597 with three homers in 16 games after hitting just .242/.305/.352 with two homers in 51 games across the season's first two months. Though the left-handed hitter isn't known for his power, he is on pace to register double-digit home runs for the second straight season. Panik is best suited for NL-only formats, but he can be used in deep mixed leagues while he's hot.
