Buster Posey right at home playing first base

by Jeff Latka | Sun, Jun 25th 11:08am EDT

Giants first baseman Buster Posey went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, two doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored Thursday against the Braves.

Fantasy Impact:

Posey has now recorded a sizzling .439 average in 13 starts at first base, compared to a .318 mark in 50 games behind the plate. Baseball's top backstop is having arguably his best season yet, with a .344/.427/.537 batting line, 10 homers and more walks (28) than strikeouts (26) in 63 games. He's on pace for fewer than 70 runs and 70 RBIs, but that's hardly his fault.
