Stephen Vogt has been claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers. Vogt was designated for assignment by the Oakland Athletics on Thursday after hitting just .217 with four home runs in 54 games. (Jane Lee, MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Vogt is not necessarily going to step into an everyday job with the Brewers, as Manny Pina is having a solid season. He could replace Jett Bandy as the backup and should provide a solid left-handed bat off the bench, but he does not appear to be a reliable fantasy option now that he is with the Brewers.
