Greg Holland faces a pair of batters in loss

by Waleed Hawatky | Mon, Jun 26th 3:01pm EDT

Greg Holland faced two hitters in 1/3 of an inning's work, striking out one. The Rockies lost the game 12-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Holland was brought on to stop the disastrous meltdown of the Colorado bullpen which had surrendered eight runs over the seventh and eighth innings including five in the eighth as the Dodgers came back from behind to win the ballgame. He'd surrender an RBI double to his counterpart closer Kenley Jansen that tagged Adam Ottavino with a sixth earned run but then struck out Yasmani Grandal to end the bloodbath. Holland has been arguably the best closer in baseball this year leading the league with 25 saves to go with a 1-0 record, a shiny 1.61 ERA and a spotless 1.04 WHIP. He's struck out 37 batters in 28 innings.
