Alex Dickerson out for the remainder of the season

Alex Dickerson opted to undergo a season ending microdiscectomy, a surgery to remove bulging disc material in his lower back. (mlb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
This is Dickerson's second discectomy procedure and several attempts to rehab the injury with rest has proved fruitless. This is very disappointing news for Dickerson fans and owners. Dickerson was set to have an outbreak season for the Padres this year. Dickerson says he should be fully recovered by December and should be ready for Spring Training in 2018
