Cody Allen takes the loss on Tuesday

With the game tied at one heading into the ninth inning against the Rangers, Cody Allen (0-4) took the mound for the Indians and gave up a game-winning solo home run to Adrian Beltre with two outs. The Indians fell to the Rangers 2-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Allen has been very solid for the Indians and fantasy owners this season converting 15 out of 16 save chances with 2.40 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 30 innings. However, Allen has given up a home run in two of his last three appearances in non-save situations. He will remain the closer in Cleveland going forward but will need to continue to pitch well with Andrew Miller as a capable alternative if he struggles.
