Eric Thames collects two hits on Sunday

Eric Thames drew the start at 1B during the series finale against the Yankees' and right-hander Masahiro Tanaka on Sunday. Thames went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles and two runs during the Brewers' 5-3 win.
Fantasy Impact:
Thames hits the All-Star break with a .248 average, 23 home runs, 43 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners that took a chance on him during the draft. He has cooled off since the opening month of the season but is still posting strong fantasy numbers in homers, RBIs and runs.
