Ryan Madson acquired by Nationals

The Nationals have acquired LHP Sean Doolittle and RHP Ryan Madson from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for Blake Treinen and prospects Jesus Lazardo and Sheldon Neuse. (Oakland Athletics on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Doolittle figures to be the favorite to close in Washington, however there will likely be some shared duty with Madson as both are fully capable of locking down the back-end of games. Either way, Madson's value should get a bit of a bump going to a better team in the Nationals. Madson owns a 2.17 ERA with a 0.80 WHIP and 35 strikeouts over 37 1/3 innings. Together with Doolittle, he will certainly provide stability to the disaster that has been Washington's bullpen thus far in 2017.
