Adam Jones went a combined 1-8 on Saturday and Sunday, which both resulted in lopsided losses to the Cubs. Over the past few days, manager Buck Showalter has moved Jones to the leadoff spot, albeit with limited success.

Fantasy Impact:

As a recent Fantasy Pros article has highlighted, Adam Jones is the definition of a consistent, but mediocre fantasy baseball player. His true value stems from his defense and leadership, both of course which are not counting stats in fantasy. He is now hitting in the low .260 range with 15 homers, 42 runs scored, and 40 RBIs, which is right in line with his historical numbers.
